A peek inside your private session:
We begin with a short check-in about how your body is feeling and any wishes you have for the session.
I design the session for you in the moment, based on what you share and what I observe.
Using primarily my words and little to no demonstration, I guide you through carefully chosen movement, breath and awareness.
The pace and intensity can be gentle or more physically demanding, depending on what supports you that day.
The session remains responsive throughout, adapting to what your body needs as we go.

About
Many people are used to approaching movement through effort - trying to stretch further, get stronger, or fix what feels wrong. But when movement is approached with attention and curiosity, the body can reveal its own way of finding strength, coordination, and ease.My name is Moni de Boo. For more than a decade I've been studying and teaching movement, anatomy, and the nervous system. My work began in yoga, but over the years it has grown into a broader exploration of how bodies adapt, heal, and find new possibilities for movement.Rather than focusing on achieving shapes or copying poses, sessions are guided primarily through words. The emphasis is on the experience of being in your own body - exploring what creates steadiness, strength, ease, or softness on a given day.Over the years I've worked with people in many different situations - including pregnancy and postpartum recovery, returning to movement after an injury, stress and burnout, long COVID, hypermobility and joint pain. Others come simply because they feel curious about exploring movement.
Who 1-1 sessions work well for
People usually seek out this kind of one-to-one work when something about their body feels unclear, stuck, or difficult to navigate alone. Working one-to-one allows us to notice subtle patterns, address specific areas that need more space, strength or care than others, and find ways of moving that are supportive for your body.Over time, this process often leads to greater steadiness, mobility, and confidence in movement - not only within practice, but in everyday life.
Training and influences
My work draws from more than a decade of teaching yoga alongside ongoing study of movement science, functional anatomy, and nervous-system-based approaches to working with the body. My background includes training in teaching one-to-one yoga sessions, pre- and postnatal yoga, functional anatomy and movement education and nervous system-informed approaches to practice.
I also continue to refine my understanding of movement through regular private Pilates practice and ongoing study with teachers working in therapeutic and somatic movement traditions.
